Moving Meditation in the Park 🌳

About the Event
Start your day right with an all-levels donations-based moving meditation class! This full-body movement class will wake you up more than that 3rd cup of morning coffee, but in a calm and serene way. And being outdoors heightens the sensory experience in such a blissful way. 😀
We'll be doing a mixture of mindful walking, yoga and martial arts movements and relaxation techniques. Should be an interesting, fun and unique experience!
What to Bring: ✨
- Comfortable shoes (for standing/moving on grass and pavement)
- Clothing layers (appropriate for weather and temp changes)
- Face covering
- We will not be doing any mat work, so you don't need a mat.
Where We'll Be: 📍
We'll meet on the grassy area near the playground/basketball court. I'll have a sign so it's even easier to find us.
Best parking is in the Marriott/La Provence cafe lot. The park access there is close to where we'll be. Alternately, you can park in the lot of the elementary school. There are restrooms at the park.
COVID-19 Note: 😷
Due to the pandemic, this class will be limited to 8 students — so be sure to RSVP ASAP. We will practice mask-wearing when not exercising (and during if you can handle it!) and social distancing (mats at least 6 feet apart). I will not be making any physical adjustments or assists but will offer verbal adjustment suggestions.
