Yoga Jam in the Park 6/13/21 🌳
Time & Location
About the Event
Start your day right with an invigorating vinyasa practice! It'll wake you up more than that 3rd cup of morning coffee. And being outdoors heightens the sensory experience in such a blissful way. 😀
How This'll Work: 🧘
I'm going to be in the park at 9am, ready to move my bod. You are welcome to join me, hence Yoga Jam — as in yoga jam session. (Not like jam for your bread.) You are welcome to do your own yoga regimen alongside me doing mine.
OR, if there's interest, I'm happy to turn this Yoga Jam into an impromptu all-levels, donations-based Yoga in the Park class. I'm keeping it a bit loose because we haven't yet reached a point at which the weather is predictable enough to firmly schedule outdoor yoga classes yet. (Soon! Have patience!) And having the flexibility to cancel last-minute is sort of needed right now.
What to Bring: ✨
- Props (if you like to use blocks or a strap)
- Beach towel or blanket (dewy grass!)
- Clothing layers (can be chilly or sunny)
- Face covering
Where We'll Be: 📍
We'll be on the grassy area near the playground/basketball court. I'll have a sign so it's even easier to find us (just in case the yoga mats aren't a give-away...). This spot offers both sun and shade — something for everyone! Best parking is in the Marriott lot, on the side near the La Provence cafe. The park access there is close to where we'll be. Alternately, you can park in the lot of the elementary school. There are restrooms at the park.
COVID-19 Note: 😷
Due to the pandemic, this class will be limited to 8 students — so be sure to RSVP ASAP. Regardless of whether or not you're fully or partially vaxxed, we will practice mask-wearing when not exercising (and during if you can handle it!) and social distancing (mats at least 6 feet apart). I will not be making any physical adjustments or assists but will offer verbal adjustment suggestions.
- The Yoga Jam is weather permitting. If the weather is uncooperative, I'll just cancel this Event. Because this Event isn't a formal class, I probably won't send out any kind of email about the cancelation. So, check the weather and check the website. :-)
- Please, leave your pet(s) at home.
